Game Development: Update #1


Before getting started on the update for our first reported week, we should clarify that Maze Bomber is already fully functional locally, with the random maps properly generated, the bombs and power-ups working as intended, and so are the controls and other necessary features for the game to run properly.

For this week we've:

- Added two new bomb types, C-4 and Landmine, which are functioning according our design
- The "fog of war" feature is now implemented, which allows two players to be unaware of the current position of the adversaries on the map
- Other game customization options, like the ability to randomize bomb damage and radius at the start, as well as a Nuke mode that ramps up all damage and explosion radius, have also been added
- We are currently working on the multiplayer as a priority, in order to get the online experience working as soon as possible
- We are currently working on getting the HUD properly set-up, in order for players to have a better understanding of their inventory
